In collaboration with Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti and the Centre for Ethics, Spirituality, and Meditation, IPF hosted a Gandhi Jayanti lecture delivered by Prof. Manish R. Joshi, Secretary of the UGC. The lecture was less about remembering Gandhi in abstraction and more about applying his values to the education system today. Prof. Joshi spoke of how accessibility, ethics, and inclusivity must be at the heart of modern education. The event also marked the induction of new IPF members and the felicitation of its board. What stayed with students was not the ceremonial side, but the reminder that Gandhi’s ideals remain deeply relevant to classrooms and campuses in 2024.
