A 15-member IPF student delegation visited the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. They observed live proceedings, explored the Centre for Research and Planning, and walked through the world’s second-largest law library housed in the Apex Court. Students interacted with Dr. Sukhda Pritam, Director of the Centre, who explained how research informs judicial decision-making, and with Dr. Uma Narayan, Registrar/OSD, who offered a behind-the-scenes look into court administration.

The delegation also met Mr. Vikramjit Banerjee, Hon’ble Additional Solicitor General of India, who spoke warmly about his career and encouraged students to think of law as public service. For many, it was their first time inside the country’s highest court, an experience that gave substance to their aspirations.
